India’s largest online children’s fashion brand, Hopscotch, has deployed a payment solution from Unlimit, a global financial infrastructure company, across its website and mobile app.

The integration is designed to support checkout performance during seasonal launches, festive campaigns and flash sales, when traffic and transaction volumes can rise sharply. It processes domestic Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and card transactions.

Hopscotch has built a community of more than six million mothers across India and operates a fast-moving catalogue of more than 40,000 products, with around 500 new styles added every day. Peak periods can place additional pressure on checkout: according to Unicommerce, Indian ecommerce order volumes rose 24% year on year during the 2025 Diwali season. To help Hopscotch convert shopper intent into revenue when transaction volumes are at their highest, Unlimit routes transactions through available payment paths and retries eligible payments.

Irene Skrynova, CEO, Global Payments at Unlimit, said: “The battle for conversion is not won when a shopper clicks ‘buy’. It is won when the payment goes through. During peak retail periods, every avoidable failure is a customer and a sale that a retailer has already worked hard to earn.”
