With the new license, Unlimit will now be able to connect directly to the Brazilian Payments System (SPB), expanding its Pix infrastructure and delivering more localised and tailored solutions to clients. The company will also be able to introduce more of its industry-leading global products to Brazil, including multi-currency accounts supporting payments in over 30 currencies at competitive exchange rates and white-label card issuance.

Unlimit already operates in Brazil as an acquirer, directly integrated with major card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, Elo, and Amex, and offering local alternative payment methods including Pix, Boleto, and digital wallets. The company also facilitates cross-border payments through more than 1,000 integrated payment methods across 200 countries and 150 currencies.

“This license marks a significant milestone in Unlimit’s continued growth in Brazil and underscores our commitment to delivering comprehensive financial solutions that remove borders and empower our clients with a complete and advantageous financial ecosystem. We are excited about the new opportunities and innovations that this license will unlock, enabling us to further support merchants in their expansion across Brazil and globally,” said Kirill Eves, CEO and Founder of Unlimit.

Unlimit’s certification further expands the company’s portfolio of payment services in Brazil’s rapidly growing e-commerce market. According to the Brazilian E-commerce Association (ABComm), the market is expected to grow by 15% in 2025, reaching BRL 234.9 billion in revenue and 94 million online consumers.

Unlimit’s Payment Institution license was granted with a share capital of BRL 46 million.
