# Hong Kong Government Selects Unlimit as a Strategic Enterprise

Unlimit joins a select group of companies under OASES, a government initiative established to attract leading international businesses in sectors of strategic importance to Hong Kong, including financial technology and artificial intelligence. The programme provides tailored government support to help selected companies establish and expand their operations in the city.

From Hong Kong, Unlimit plans to expand its presence across Asia-Pacific, helping businesses enter new markets and move money across borders through its proprietary payment network spanning more than 180 countries. The company obtained its Hong Kong Money Service Operator (MSO) licence in August 2026.

Michele Fung, Head of APAC at Unlimit, said: “Being selected as a Strategic Enterprise by the Hong Kong Government is a strong recognition of Unlimit’s role in the region and our long-term ambitions. Hong Kong is one of the world’s most important financial centres, and we see it as a key base for the next phase of our growth.”
